St. John Vianney Regional School, our Parish's school, is a welcoming Catholic communionty dedicated to the highest levels of academic achievement and spiritual well-being for students from Preschool, Kindergarten, and elementary school through 8th grade. Serving the greater Allentown area of three (St. Francis of Assisi, the Catherdral of St. Catharine of Siena, and St. Paul) parishes, we share a joint commitment with families and individuals of diverse cultures in providing excellence in education, leadership, and life skills - in a safe, caring, and respectful environment.
Every day at St. John Vianney is celebrated through prayer, education, and service. They are committed to faith, leadership, and community - raising children, with the help of the parishes and parents, to become moral citizens and leaders for our community. They are accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elemntary and Secondary Schools, which is a non-profit organization that strives to improve education excellence. Per the offical certifcation - "St. John Vianney Regional School has demonstrated that it is effectively advancing the quality of educational experiences it offers its students, and meets its responsibilities to the public and the profession of education, and complies with standards for accrediation."
The school is located on the grounds of the Cathedral of St. Catharine of Siena, near the Allentown Fairgrounds, on 18th Street. Although it is on the grounds of the Cathedral, all three parishes do their part to assist, mold, and support the Christ-centered education upon which the school is based.
