Confession is a sacrament instituted by Jesus Christ in his love and mercy. It is an important piece of our obtaining eternal life in heaven. We are restored to new life and gain our good standing with Christ and His Chruch again. It is our duty to receive the sacrament of reconciliation once a year, speciafically in Lent/Easter.
At St. Francis, we have a few added times to make getting to confession easier for all. The schedule is as follows:
Saturdays: 3:15pm - 4pm
Thursday, April 4th beginning at 6:30pm (extra priests available)
Saturday, April 13th: 3-4pm
Monday, April 15th: 4-4:30pm & 7-7:30pm
Friday, April 19th: 12-12:30pm
Remember, as Pope Francis said, "The Lord never tires of forgiving. It is we who tire of asking for forgiveness." Please avail yourself to this beautiful sacrament - no matter how long it has been! Come back to the fold and encounter our merciful Savior in the sacrament of reconciliation.
